Jesus looked at them and said, “With man it is impossible, but not with God. For all things are possible with God.” (Mark 10:27 ESV)
Do you give the impression to others that with God all things are possible? By your own actions, do you limit God in the eyes of others?
If you read a biography of one of the old saints of God, you will be astounded by what God can accomplish through just one life committed to His service! The Bible very clearly portrays the power of God working through the men and women who love and fear Him. We should be exhorting one another to live the life that grace has made possible to us.
Is God real to you? Do you have a consciousness of God’s presence in your life? This is meant to be a wonderful blessing to the Christian. However, our attitudes and unbelief will limit our experience of these blessings.
A Christian delights in God and His commandments. This is because God has enlightened the believer’s mind and lifted him from the darkness. Do not give the impression that the Christian life is only about tedious duty and the dread of punishment. Christians should delight in the law of God, the grace of God, and God’s providential care.
Beware of self-confidence and self-satisfaction. We have not arrived! Man’s programs and reorganizations of the church will never do what only the power of the Holy Spirit will carry out. God desires to bless the humble heart. If you trust Jesus Christ and believe in His power to save, all things become possible.
