Boy Ordered To Undergo Psych Evaluation for Drawing Christ on Cross

What would you do if your eight-year-old was sent home from school for drawing a stick-figure picture of Jesus Christ on the cross? What would you do if your child were ordered to undergo psychological examination for drawing this picture – a picture that represents the Christian faith your child has been taught in Sunday School?

This actually happened to one American family who were informed that their second-grade son, who has special needs, had created a violent drawing. The boy had been asked by his teacher to draw something that reminded him of Christmas. The drawing produced is in the top right corner of this article.

Flashback: In Communist Russia, many Christians (because they were Christians) were simply categorized as psychologically disturbed individuals who were often imprisoned in state asylums.
