This is the video diary of Christian the lion, a big cat who lived in a London antiques shop. John Rendall and Ace Berg, two Australians, had bought the lion cub from Harrods in 1969. The trio became stars in Chelsea, playing football in a park. Christian, however, began to grow too big and so, at 18 months, he was sent to live at the Kenyan wildlife sanctuary. One year later his former owners, John and Ace, visited the sanctuary, but were warned not to get close to Christian, who was now in the wild and had his own pride. They were told that the lion would tear them to pieces. This is a video of what happened that day. . . .
“The wolf shall dwell with the lamb,
and the leopard shall lie down with the young goat,
and the calf and the lion and the fattened calf together;
and a little child shall lead them.” (Isaiah 11:6)
