A Canadian human rights tribunal, in a decision dated May 30, has banned evangelical pastor Stephen Boisson from expressing his biblical objections to homosexuality and ordered him to pay $5,000 for “damages for pain and suffering” as well as apologize to the activist who complained his feelings were hurt by Boisson’s comments. Boisson wrote a letter to the editor of his local Red Deer, Alberta, newspaper in 2002 denouncing the advance of homosexual activism as “wicked” and stating: “Children as young as five and six years of age are being subjected to psychologically and physiologically damaging pro-homosexual literature and guidance in the public school system; all under the fraudulent guise of equal rights.” The government tribunal ordered the Christian pastor to stop expressing his opinion.
The government ruling stated that “Mr. Boissoin and The Concerned Christian Coalition Inc. shall cease publishing in newspapers, by e-mail, on the radio, in public speeches, or on the Internet, in future, disparaging remarks about gays and homosexuals.” This opinion asserts once more that there is no longer the right to religious free speech in Canada. Stalin’s heirs are very busy there. Morality is now a “hate crime.”
This sad state of affairs is presently the goal of secular progressive politicians in the United State who wish to promote the homosexual radical agenda. These politicians will continue to push “hate crime” laws such as those in Canada until they are voted out of office. If not, free speech and free religious speech will soon be subjected to government censorship.
It is also time now to introduce a Constitutional Amendment limiting the terms of service for Senators and Congressmen. Our form of government is not suited to professional politicians whose primary interest is always in being re-elected to office. This would also decrease the influence of radical lobbyists.
