Interesting allegations continue to surface on the internet about Senator Barack Obama’s birth certificate. Reports allege that the birth certificate provided by his campaign is a photoshopped fake. The birth certificate, purporting to come from the Hawaii Department of Health, has been the subject of intense skepticism.
Although I doubt the validity of these accusations, another allegation has been made that a senior spokesman for the Hawaii Department of Health has stated that the birth certificate provided by the Obama campaign is not a certified document and is therefore not valid. Nevertheless, the Obama campaign continues to post an unstamped, unsealed, uncertified copy of the certificate on its “Fight the Smears” website.
These allegations are a silly distraction from the serious issues of this Presidential campaign. Senator Obama should release the original certified copy of his birth certificate from the state of Hawaii to be examined by the press. This would put to rest the rumors that he may not, in fact, have been born in Hawaii and may not be an American citizen at all, or at least not a “natural born citizen” as the Constitution defines the requirement for the nation’s chief executive.

Why would the text look uneven? Were you seriously expecting to see the original 1961 document? Most adults with adult responsibilities know that if you go to the Hall of Vital Records (as it is called in my state) and ask for a copy of your birth certificate you get a warm document with state-of-the-art text alignment. That’s what this is.
With the GOP turning into the party of underachievers, middle-managers and other denizens of the bottom quartile, I fear we are doomed to become a truly one-party nation. No matter who you voted for, that’s bad.

Senator Obama is NOT a Dirty Muslim!
“What you won’t hear from this campaign or this party is the kind of politics that uses religion as a wedge,” says Mr. Obama, while denouncing statements of him being a Muslim as a smear. Why is the presidential candidate who claims to be religiously inclusive is treating the word “Muslim” as an insult? Apparently, it is OK for Mr. Obama to be associated with terrorists like William Ayers or racists like Jeremiah Wright, but God forbid somebody would call him a Muslim! No, he won’t stand for that kind of smear! We admit that most terrorists are Muslims, but most Muslims are not terrorists and the statement on Mr. Obama’s website is insulting to hundreds of millions of people.
How could a man who discards his family heritage in favor of political expediency be even considered for presidency of the United States? Where are all the so-called “Islamic civil rights groups” like CAIR, MPAC, ISNA, MAS, etc. who are quick to defend every Islamic terrorist, but are silent when Muslims in general are being denigrated? Would Mr. Obama have the same reaction if someone claimed that he was raised as a Jew? We sincerely doubt that.

Well, the political winds did shift in an ugly direction. Is equating “Muslim” with “smear” Obama’s idea of “stand[ing] with [Muslims]?
Muslims Against Sharia demand immediate removal of “SMEAR: Barack Obama is a Muslim” statement from the official Barack Obama’s website as well as an apology for giving the word “Muslim” a negative connotation.
